Like I said - sad. But such is the life of a knitter. Now I'm waiting for my LYS to order the Addi lace needles in the larger size I need to work on the cabled part of this sweater. Maybe I better swing by there and check that they placed the order.
The not so sad part is that I have been able to work on moth.
Can you see the start of the Twin Leaf pattern? And I've also worked a bit on my Monkeys -picot edge and I'm going for 7 repeats on the leg and then a short row heel. I hope I have enough yarn!

Looks like you're taking Project Spectrum quite seriously! Sorry about the sweater troubles - hope you're back on track soon.
That is the life of a knitter...back and forth. It's all part of that silly process that we enjoy so much. All your projects look great, however!
Loving the orange-y goodness... and the badness seems fortuitous (that cable section doesn't look right from here). I hope there's Enough Yarn!
oooh, i love all your orange knits! what went wrong with the sweater?? it looks ok . . .
Oh sorry about your sweater problem. I can relate unfortunately. I love all the bright and beautiful orange you have on the needles.
Sad, but ultimately for the best.
And nice projects!
